Her Royal Kainess
Princess Kai lives in the south burbs of Chicago with her lovely Fiance and a big, fat, gray cat named Flanders. She and Running have been together on and off for about 7 years and have had their share of lover’s spats, but she thinks that this time around it might be for keeps. Running often makes her get out of bed at ungodly hours and forces her outside after a long day of work, but in the end, she is glad Running pushes her. And not just because being with Running allows her to indulge in her other love: Eating everything in sight.
The Princess enjoys crisp, sunny fall days, puppies, and bacon. Her guilty pleasures are bad pop music (don’t look at her iPod) and sleeping in. The strangest things she has ever eaten are insects (scorpions and grasshoppers), hippos, and giraffe meat, and there is not much she won’t try. She pretty much hates all cheese (except mozzarella and brie) but absolutely loves artificial cheese products (cheese puffs, Cheez-Its, and Doritos).

Hi Kai,
I love your pictures of food!!! I too am a food lover/runner…funny how they come together like that. I’m writing for a women’s running community so I’m out trying to find like-minded women runners to be a part of our online community. I would love for you to post some of your foody expertise and running experiences there, we have a decent amount of members for BETA operation and just launched a few months, but people who post is a different story…I would love to find colorful women with a love for running to join us and bring the world of women running together!
Best Wishes,
~Betty
